Pie                            

Pie is comprised of two elements which can be displayed together or separately. Each half is a semi-circle constructed from a single piece of laminated birch plywood and two sections of blue twin wall polycarbonate

The transparent acrylic base also has a three pin plug socket allowing one half to be connected to the other. Each half rests on three feet which also act as a cable storage system and with a half turn a locking system for the base.

Pies concept developed from an idea of combining the two complementary but opposing materials. The naturalness of the wood contrasts with the translucent, light and rigidness of the plastic.
